An interior designer who paints for the space

Diana Kindrat combines interior design experience with naive-style painting. Every piece is designed as part of a space — scale, color and composition are matched to the wall it is made for.

A rabbit runs through every painting as its recurring character. In each work it lives a different story — another era, role and temperament, recognizable by small details: a hat, a cape, a prop at its side. It keeps the series unified while each canvas tells its own tale.

Canvases are painted by hand, layer by layer — from a warm brown underpaint to flat fields of color and textured accents. No editions: every painting is one of a kind and signed by hand.
